Testing Member Payments

Testing Member Payments

After you've configured your payment options we recommend you test by making a small payment in Purim Project.

Note: the test mentioned here is by making a $1 donation via Purim Project. However, you can just as well test by making a single selection/greeting. You would be able to change or add selections later.

Following are the steps:

1. If your campaign does not include making donations then temporarily add the option to allow members to specify an additional donation. This is done under Campaign Pricing. After the test, you can remove the option to allow donations. Skip this step if you choose to test by making selections instead of giving a donation.

2. Your members are able to login to Purim Project only if your campaign is "Running". Therefore, make sure your campaign's Start Date is before today and the End Date is a future date. To do this Edit your campaign.

3. Login to Purim Project as a yourself. if you are not among the members list, login as another member. To do this:
  1. Find your username and password for logging in to Purim Project by clicking Edit for the member from the Members page in Comsend.
  2. Go to www.purimproject.com and login using the username and password. Make a $1 donation (or a selection). Continue with payment using your selected credit card payment method (e.g., Paypal, Authorize.Net etc.).
4. Verify that:
  1. - The payment was received in your account.
  2. - You can see the payment in Comsend. You can do this from the Members page by clicking the Payments icon for the member.
