Campaigns Overview

The Campaign is what defines your project to include the dates, pricing and custom texts and more.

To configure a campaign you must open and edit it. Note that you shouldn’t edit an old campaign that you already ran. Rather, if you want similar configurations from a past campaign, you can duplicate the campaign (see Duplicating a Campaign) to create a new one.

Clicking the edit link to the right of the campaign name will take you into the campaign edit area, or selecting Create Campaign from the dropdown list (the very first choice) will create an entirely new campaign.

The campaign edit area is comprised of four sections:

1. BASIC INFO

In the Basic Info section you'll find the following options:
  1. Campaign Type: will drive the theme for members.
  2. Campaign Dates: The first and last dates that members can make selections (admins can work before and after these dates as well). Note that you should not  have campaigns with overlapping dates.
  3. Campaign Name: What you want to call your campaign (usually includes a year)
  4. Fundraising Goal: For admin dashboard only, so you can track how your campaign is doing against your goal.
  5. Display Survey: Select a Survey that you want to display to your members.
  6. Redirect URL: The address that members will be taken to after they complete their payment or log-off.
  7. Prompt for Email Addresses: if a member logged-in not  through an email link (i.e. with a username and password from the website) and there is no email address for the member on record, the system will prompt the member to enter one.
  8. Allow Personal Greetings: Allow members to add a personal greeting for the members they selected (this is a very common option).
  9. Allow Member to Edit Greeting Display Name: With this option members can see and edit how their names will appear in the Final Letter greeting cards for the members they select.
  10. Allow Update Personal info: The member can click the profile icon in the upper left and update their name, address, phone numbers and email - but not the way they appear in member list or greetings.
  11. Email Order Details: Every time the member places and order, the order details will be emailed to them automatically.
  12. Show Last Year Selections: One members make their selections, they can click the dropdown field to see who they selected last year, and easily select those same members again.
  13. Popup Member info editing on first login: The very first time a member logs in, they will see a pop-up of their personal information for editing or confirmation.

2. PRICING

This section is where you set your pricing preferences, discount codes, and other settings pertaining to extra gifts that you may use

3. CUSTOM TEXTS

Where you enter the Custom Texts you want displayed for a number of areas on the user website, as well as text for your letters.

4. PRODUCTS
Where you define the products and donations to present to members.
