Deleting and Disabling Members
You probably want to delete a member family if they left the community or if a single-member family deceased. If you've run campaigns in the past then chances are that there's historical information associated with the family (i.e. selections they made or they've been selected by others) in which case you'll need to do a "soft delete" by disabling the member. To do so, edit the member and then change the Permissions field to Disabled. Disabled members will be removed from all outgoing emails and will no longer appear on member lists, but their history be retained.
If you're mid campaign and the member you want to disable has already made selections, or others made selections to the member, you'll need to delete those selections first. Simply enter the Selections area from the admin portal where you'll see the two red buttons on the side. But be sure you're on the right family before doing so.
If you're still interested in seeing the members as an admin on your Member list go to Preferences on the top right (gear icon) and check-off the box that says "Show disabled members in Comsend", and then those members will appear in Comsend with a strike-through.
Finally, if there's no historical data associated with the member you can "hard delete" the member from the database using the trash icon in the table view of members under the Action column.
