The member website was designed to be as simple and straightforward as possible since members can't be expected to go through training. With that, on the customized First Page (aka Splash page, or Welcome page) administrators might include basic instructions as you see fit. Furthermore, the first time members log into the site a walkthrough tutorial will bring a few key items to their attention.
Welcome
This is where the admin shared general information about the campaign.
Selections
In this part members select other member families whom they want their own name (and optionally their greeting) to appear on their Final Letters (i.e. the consolidated greeting card) at the campaign conclusion.
Families are selected by checking the checkbox to the left of the family name.
Members can search for a particular family using the search box at the top, and can see any categories of families in the dropdown box that by default says "All Members".
In this same dropdown box members can see a number of additional options depending on what the admin made available to them.
Sometimes full categories of members carry a special price, and sometimes the admin also sets a Send to All price with a dedicated button to enable it.
Reciprocity
If Reciprocity is made available, members can turn it on. By turning the option "on" members will automatically be added to their selections if they select the member and the member did not select them. The charge for Reciprocity will be indicated under the button. Note that the button is made available despite a possible Select All since new members can be added throughout the campaign.
Greetings
In the Greetings step (optional) the member can assign a general greeting to all their selections or a unique greeting for select members. If Reciprocity was turned on, then the member can also add a default Reciprocity greeting (a greeting that will be sent to all members who will result from the reciprocity step).
Additional Options
Here the member can find various options set by the member to include a survey, a prompt for donations, or the sale of products. Some products require the member to select a quantity from a dropdown box, while others require the member to press the button that says "+1".
Checkout
On the checkout page members are expected to submit payment through the options made by the administrator of the campaign.
