The Member Website is designed to be simple, intuitive, and easy to use, recognizing that members are not expected to undergo any training. The goal is to guide members smoothly through the campaign process with minimal friction and a clear, step-by-step flow.
As of December 2025, we introduced a newly designed Member Website for the 2026 campaign season. The new design focuses on improving clarity, flow, and overall user experience, while retaining all existing functionality.
Both versions of the Member Website are available.
Administrators can choose whether to use the original version or the newly designed version (v2).
This choice is controlled in the Preferences area by selecting v2.
⚠️ Important: Before launching a campaign, administrators should thoroughly test the selected Member Website version to ensure it meets their expectations and aligns with their campaign needs. While the functionality is the same, the flow and presentation are improved in the new version, and it’s essential to confirm that the experience feels right for your community.
The Member Website opens on the First Page (also known as the Splash Page or Welcome Page), which is customized by the campaign administrator. This page typically includes general information or brief instructions to help members understand the campaign.
The first time a member logs in, a short walkthrough tutorial highlights a few key elements of the site to help them get oriented.
Members usually access the site via a personalized login link sent by the administrator.
Members complete their participation by moving through a series of steps using the Next and Back buttons on the old version, and "Proceed to.." and "Back to..." buttons on the new.
The current step is always shown at the top of the screen, from Welcome through Checkout.
The exact steps and features available depend on the preferences set by the campaign administrator.
This step displays general campaign information provided by the administrator.
In this step, members select the families they would like their name (and optionally a greeting) to appear on the Final Letters (the consolidated greeting card created at the end of the campaign).
Key features include:
Selecting families using checkboxes.
Searching for families using the search bar.
Filtering by categories via a dropdown menu (default: “All Members”).
Additional options in the dropdown based on campaign settings.
Special pricing for certain categories or a Send to All option, if enabled by the administrator.
If Reciprocity is enabled, members may turn it on during this step.
When Reciprocity is on:
Members will automatically be added to selections where another member selected them, but they did not reciprocate.
The Reciprocity charge is clearly displayed.
The option remains available even if a “Select All” option exists, as new members may join the campaign at any time.
This optional step allows members to:
Apply a single greeting to all selections, or
Assign unique greetings to specific members.
If Reciprocity is enabled, members can also set a default Reciprocity greeting, which will be used for any selections created through the Reciprocity process.
This step may include:
Surveys
Donation prompts
Products for purchase
Depending on the item, members may select quantities from a dropdown or use a “+1” button to add items.
In the final step, members submit payment using the payment methods configured by the campaign administrator.
