How do I test my campaign?

How do I test my campaign?

Your campaign may include several features, such as selections, greetings, a survey and products as examples, and it's important that you test them all to confirm that these are meeting your expectations before launching your campaign.

We suggest that you consider three levels of testing depending on your needs:

1. A partial test is primarily to test your selection pricing and to confirm added features appear such as surveys and Products. To run a partial test go to Members, choose a member to test, click on the Selections action icon and go through the process.

The limitation of the partial test is that you won't have the same member experience, beginning with reading the email with the invitation, clicking the login link, etc.

2. An advanced test is to go through the entire process as a member would and confirm that the experience meets your expectations. An advanced test is run from the Test Email area under the Email menu option. When your email is ready to go click the Select Member drop-down, select yourself and then click Send test email. You'll receive your email like everyone else and can click on the login link (auto-URL) to enter your website even if your campaign is not yet live.

3. The full test is highly recommended before launching your campaign to confirm that your site is live and ready for your members. To run a full test:
  1. Set your campaign as active by setting your dates so that today's date is between the start and end date.
  2. Go to Email and create an email along with your auto_url macro.
  3. Select only yourself as the recipient of the email once you click Continue to Choose Recipients (NOT in the Test area) and send the email.
  4. Go to your private email, click the link and go through the process, including payment.
