First Letter invitations

Most customers send their First Letter invitations to members to participate in a campaign by email.

To send your First Letters via email:
From  the email menu you can choose to compose a new email, use a previous one that you sent in the past, or use one of the templates.

To use a previous email that you sent:

Go to Emails => choose "Drafts and Sent" and then scan through the First Letter emails you sent last year. Select one and click the "Reuse" icon.

Test by emailing the letter just to yourself before sending to all members.

Alternatively, you can send paper letters with a printed member list to your members.

Sending paper printouts for your First Letter:
Go to Letters => First Letters PDF or, if you'd like to use Word's features and generate the letter using mail merge, create your own First Letter in Word. Then download an Excel spreadsheet with the First Letter info for each member. Perform a mail merge using the Word and Excel files. The Excel spreadsheet can be downloaded from Letters => First Letters Excel for mail merge => [optional: Group By - Members without email] => Select All => Process => Export to Excel

In addition to this First Letter, should you require it, print a Members List so that members can be selected by those who cannot (or prefer not to) select online at PurimProject.com.

These members can hand you their selections and you, as an admin, can easily enter their selections (within the Members page, click Selections under the Actions column). To print your

Members List go to Letters => Members List RTF. You can also generate an alternate Members List using mail merge and the Excel generated from Letters => Members List Excel for mail merge.
