Comsend allows you to specify how you want your members' names to appear in the various outputs:
- Your email invitation uses the First Letter display field
- The Member list uses the Member List display field
- The Final Letter display field is typically used in your salutation, to the receiver of greetings
- And the greetings themselves use the Final Letter Greeting display field
Most customers use a simple form of "First Name" followed by "Last Name" for all forms of communication and when adding a member manually from within Comsend this is what will be used unless you specify differently. Similarly during a Member List upload, unless you specify your Display field information, "First Name" followed by "Last Name" is what will be used.
Note that any time you change names directly in Comsend, if you'd like the system to reconfigure your Display fields you'll need to delete the contents before saving.
